The June 2008 issue of Assemblies Outreach magazine has been mailed to all subscribers today. It contains the latest version of the NSW Home Workers Supplement.

Items or News for the next issue, due in August 2008, should be submitted no later than 11 July, unless by prior arrangement with the Editor.

Subscriptions for the year 2008 became due in January. The basic cost is still the same — $25 for the six issues – but there are now several options including a PDF version. Read more about these at Subscriptions.

There are two other opportunities to hear the main speaker for those who are unable to attend the forthcoming National Christian Brethren Conference in Victoria. Thanksgiving Service for Mr Ian McDowell

Mr Ian McDowell was called home to Glory on 5 March 2008. A NSW Thanksgiving Service will be held at
2pm on Saturday, 19^th April 2008, in Epping Gospel Chapel, 120 Carlingford Road, Epping.

Ian spent 23 years of his life as Principal of Emmaus Bible School (now College). He will be warmly remembered for his rich ministry and Bible teaching across NSW assemblies, especially at Epping, his home assembly during those years.

All are warmly invited to attend this Thanksgiving Service. Refreshments will be serves afterwards and you are invited to bring, if possible, a disposable plate with some food to share.

The Thanksgiving Service for Mr Ian McDowell (the Principal of Emmaus Bible College for many years) will be held (DV) at 3.15pm on Saturday, 15th March, at Ashwood College School Hall, Vannam Drive, Ashwood, Melbourne. This hall is about 500 metres from Ashwood Chapel.
All welcome.

Planning for a service in the near future in Sydney is underway and details will be posted here and e-mailed to NSW Assemblies when available.

Mr Ian McDowell (the Principal of Emmaus Bible College for many years) went to be with the Lord this morning at 8am. He had a stroke last Saturday at his home in Holmesglen, Victoria, and never regained consciousness.
A Memorial Service is planned in Victoria and a notice will be added here when the details are available.
Please pray for his family and friends.
